This oxygen sensor simulator/tester is required to prevent your 96 & up OBDII GM vehicle from triggering a service soon code when you remove the catalytic converters for off road use/testing. The simulator plugs into the oxygen sensor harness replacing the second (post cat) oxygen sensor in your factory exhaust system. It simulates the correct readings for the sensor as if the catalytic converter were still in place.
Unlike other brands which can fail without notice, these simulators have a built in diagnostic circuit which illuminates an LED to indicate the unit is functioning correctly.
Priced individually. Two will be required for GM V8 powered vehicles. One is required for V6 applications.
