DAA Bullets Out Magnetic Pouch

I had the Alpha X mag pouches which look fantastic but ended up being a 1 dressed up as a 5. The DAA Bullets Out Magnetic pouch is a 5 dressed down, but do they do the job and they won’t implode on you, dropping the internal components and magazine on the ground.


Advantages: Ergonomically these are superior. Your weak hand mimics the same lateral hand position that your strong hand would to catch the gun. This hand position sets you up for inserting the magazine rather than rotating your wrist in the air.

The magazine is held securely, but releases smoothly. No matter how much I adjusted the shins of the Alpha X it was either too tight or too loose. These BOMP have a robust solid build and will not crack under pressure.

I ordered 4 but you can easily get 6 in the space of 3 regular mag pouches, so I’m ordering a 5th. The compact design makes it easier to retrieve them.

Fully adjustable, height, elevation and angle.

Disadvantages: None.

Last summer I used my friends DA magnetic mag pouches and Alpha X holster. I liked them so much that I bought my own.

Advantages: These mag pouches make it easy to put magazines on and remove them from my belt. There's much less drag on the magazine when pulling one out as compared to my other pouches.

I used a friends IPSC belt last summer which was equipped with these magnetic pouches and the Double Aplha holster and loved it so now I have my own.

Advantages: Easier to fix loaded mags to the belt and to draw them out for mag changes.

Disadvantages: I have very long arms and a short back so for me the mags sit a little to high but that's not the mag pouches fault. I have this issue with most mag pouches.
